LORNA MACDONALD-BRADLEY

Originally from the Scottish Highlands, Lorna now lives in Bearsden, with her husband. She trained and worked as an English teacher before becoming a teacher of Support for Learning in a large secondary school in Glasgow. An avid reader, she strives to impart the same passion into her pupils and other young people. Her debut novel, Dealga, is the first in an eco-dystopian trilogy for young adults. The trilogy looks at a world in the future which has continued to be destroyed by humans and the consequences they now face. She feels so lucky to live in a city only minutes from the beauty of the countryside which inspires her writing

When she is not teaching or writing, Lorna likes nothing more than exploring the world, spending time with friends, dancing at music festivals and paddleboarding…badly.
