J.W. DARCY

J.W. Darcy, born in the West Midlands, now lives in Stourbridge. Graduating in English with Politics as a mature student, she became a college lecturer in literacy until chronic ill health ended her career. At sixty she realised her life-long ambition to become a published author with a first novel introducing Jasmine Brite and her missing persons agency. Rather let down by another publisher’s poor editing, non-commercial cover art and print prices deterring readers, APS Books aims to get her crime series back on track with the second title ‘Ladybird Ladybird’ and we’ve republished it’s forerunner ‘In Search Of Luca’ as well as the third title,  ‘Legacy Of Lies’. By way of contrast to her crime fiction J.W. Darcy also has her first romance in print.

Ladybird Ladybird Two young people vanish after a Somerset music festival but all leads are quickly exhausted – five years later there’s a new sighting but the the police aren’t interested…
