John Wright was born in Scotland in the early 1950s and developed an early interest in writing, mainly focusing on poetry. Over the years he has continued to work in this field giving poetry readings the length and breadth of the country. John’s first foray into the world of biography, ‘More Swings Than Roundabouts’, covers the life of a great circus performer and friend of film stars and royalty. Carlos ‘Robin’ Medina. Complete with photographs from Carlos’s personal collection, the book traces a glittering career as a gymnast, acrobat and contortionist through to the personal issue he faced as a gay man intriguing read on all fronts.
