Mark Skirving was born in Wednesbury 1966. A Black Country lad, he grew up in Darlaston and Walsall, before moving down the road to sunny Birmingham. He lives with his lovely wife Ruth and is a proud father and grandfather, who enjoys being silly.
Mark is an artist and artiste; an oil painter, writer, teller of tales and a singer of songs. He has been a purse maker, ditch digger, tree feller, railway track clearer, shopping centre security guard and a lithographic printer, before spending the last thirty five years touring, as front man of King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys. He has, in his time been mistaken for both Superman and Father Christmas, though with twenty five years of self indulgence between the two.
