Keith Horsfall has spent a lifetime in music. He is a cellist, writer, orchestral player, conductor and teacher and, down the years, he has been required to compile programme notes for a wide variety of concerts. These have ranged from those given by some of the world’s finest orchestras through to concerts by local amateur and youth groups. He believes that music should be approachable, even for the uninitiated, and has written in a style that hopefully brings a greater degree of clarity and understanding to the listener.
