During the summer and fall Felicity lives in the state of Connecticut and in the winter she lives in the Caribbean in Bequia, a tiny island which is part of the country of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Together with the Board of Directors of a Community Foundation which she founded with a fellow Vincentian and close friend Karen Hinds, she works with local nonprofit organizations as they serve the island’s small population of 120,000 www.cfsvg.org
Over the years one of her favorite subjects to write poetry about has been Bequia.
Night Jasmine The smell of night jasmine with its subtle undertones of light and dark like a sepia photograph makes an indelible imprint of Bequia. Its smell creates an album of memories that spill across my mind, haphazard, and indestructible.
